The power of thought, its meaning. The properties of thought are the science of thinking. How to develop thinking skills?

G.A.J. 1952 ch2. Why do you weaken yourself with unnecessary thoughts?

Each thought that flashes in the consciousness makes the nervous system vibrate and, being fire, or fiery energy, generates fire by consonance. So is the thought that comes from outside. The nature and property of thought determines the nature and property of the fires created in oneself. The thin plastic matter of the elements exists in various degrees of rarefaction: from dense, close to the Earth, to the thinnest, from heavy and inactive to light and striving upwards. Therefore, the forms created by thought are created according to the essence of its fire and differ according to the properties of the matter from which they are created. Of course, every thought is fiery, but an ordinary earthly thought, a subtle thought and a thought from the Higher Spheres of the Fiery World - a fiery thought, in the full and direct sense of the word, is distinguished by the highest properties of the flame. There are heavy immovable thoughts, like a stone, dragging down. There are lungs that ascend like helium. A fiery uplifting thought is not a metaphor. Penetrating the entire microcosm, tuning it along the scale of the highest octaves of fire, thought literally rarefies dense matter and makes all conductors and the physical body lighter. Even the gait becomes light, airy. A high degree of influence of thought on the body is sitting on water or rising into the air. The whole being of a person, under the influence of a fiery thought, rushes upwards. Such a consciousness will not linger in the lower strata. Light-bearing fiery spheres will be his destiny.

It is not necessary to allow thoughts of a lower order into the consciousness - like a stone on the feet or lead on the wings. People with bound wings - that's how you can call them, aspiring to the Earth. Thought connects its originator with the object or sphere to which it is directed or which it touches. Consciousness, completely and completely occupied with earthly affairs and thinking about nothing but the Earth, is tied by all threads to the Earth and its things, and after death remains in this terrible bondage. But the striving that gave rise to unearthly spheres immediately flies towards them, as if on wings, as soon as the chains of dense matter are thrown off. The Subtle World is divided into layers, from the lowest to the highest, and the consciousness, liberated from the body, is immediately irresistibly attracted by the magnetic essence of the elements included in the microcosm that has shed the body, to the spheres in which there are objects of aspirations, desires, thoughts and dreams of the consciousness liberated from the body . It enters the habitual sphere, or area, of thoughts, combining the energies of its apparatus with the energies of the sphere according to consonance and affinity. Talk about retribution or punishment. Wrong! There is no such institution in the Cosmos. It's just that everyone gets what they wanted, and completely, in full accordance with the generated desire. And there are no judges. But there is a harvest of sowing earthly grains. And the sowers of the grains of the earth on Earth should also think about what the harvest will be. They themselves sow, they themselves reap, and according to their labors. The miraculous fiery apparatus of man, subtly resonating with those vibrations that are embedded in it in the form of grains, and calling outside and reacting to energies coming from outside, reacts only with the elements that are embedded in it and are in it.

Not only the physical body is nourished, but also the astral, and the subtle and fiery bodies. Astral - by emotions and feelings, subtle - by feelings and thoughts. Therefore, the creation and saturation of all conductors goes on unceasingly. Therefore, one should think, and it is good what is saturated with what elements or vibrations are introduced into the sphere or into the tissues of each of them. How and what is saturation. For the elements affirmed in each will be either a source of joy and blessing, or vice versa. So we come back to control. The watch of consciousness is again affirmed as a means of conscious construction of the substance of invisible conductors, or shells. They exist, they, it is they, being conductors, that lead to the conscious center of the energy of the spheres corresponding to them, but according to the nature of the conductor and how and what kind of energies it can conduct through its tissues, how and to what they can vibrate in response to the energies of the Supermundane World rushing towards it.

The blacksmith of his own happiness, who created his conductors and gave them this or that degree of conductivity, and precisely certain vibrations, sees with his own eyes the immutability of the great formula “Do not be mistaken: God cannot be mocked, what you sow is what you reap.” Only he is convinced of this not on the pages of distorted and misunderstood scriptures, not from the lips of preachers who do not believe in them, but in life, on himself, when the inexorable law of life begins to act precisely, definitely, mathematically, according to all the rules of magnetic attraction and polarization. subtle energies. In their manifestations and obedience to the law, they are very similar to the ordinary phenomena of electrical and magnetic energies and are subject to completely analogous laws of energy. Not miracles, but the life of subtle energies manifesting in the form of law. And regardless of church ordinances.

Description

The importance of words in a person's life is easy to underestimate. Using them thoughtlessly, we can harm ourselves unconsciously. Therefore, the meaning of words in human life https://bit.ly/2lGSuvc, the correctness of their use, it is important to know and understand. Alena Krasnova will tell you how words and thoughts can influence our lives. The meaning of the use of words in human life 00:09 Most often, people speak without thinking about the meaning of words in human life. That is, he does not think where these words lead. She says it because that's how my mother always expressed herself, for a bunch of words, so fashionably, pleasantly. Anyhow. In the head there is a certain set of phrases, words, to the place so to speak. We release them automatically. 00:43 If you are honest with yourself, then you understand that in human life words are insignificant, there is no awareness in this, there is no conscious approach to what we say. 00:55 Alena Krasnova notes another moment, my dears. At the same time, certain words, thoughts that we do not attach importance to, block actions, ideas for implementation. How often do you have an idea, but you don’t even start implementing it? 01:29 What sometimes blocks a person in his life from the significance of spoken words, from the realization, for example, of the divine timetable, from following his missions? Undoubtedly, there are blocking beliefs. But what thoughts, words continue to feed these blocks, what phrases do you habitually throw out of your space? The meaning of words in a person's life arguments 01:53 You don't even think how much words and arguments mean in a person's life space. You think, your ideas are born, but you don’t start, that is, your actions are blocked. Here comes another important point. Namely, this is the inability to master precisely those words, thoughts that are on high vibrations. which are positively charged. 02:29 The field of activity can be connected with communication with people, the meaning of words in a person's life, the arguments are very weighty. It turns out that if your work is connected with people, you really need to be able to communicate with them. And we communicate not only at the conscious, verbal level, but also at the subconscious level. That is, when a person listens to you, his unconscious reads information from your energy field, from your vibrations. It happens on an unconscious level. 03:05 On the basis of this, a person accepts significant life words as arguments, for example, your offer of cooperation, or not. Depending on what words you use, he either goes towards you, or he has internal resistance. Look, having cleared your energy space, that is, being able to wield positively charged words, high vibrational thoughts, you will simply by your very presence make people want to be in your field, light, energy. The meaning of words 03:49 Alena Krasnova notes the following point: words, their meaning, thoughts create low self-esteem. Moreover, both for themselves and for others. We create a negative opinion of the environment about ourselves. There are phrases that cannot be categorically pronounced not only in your address, but also to relatives and friends. There is also a mother's curse that may still be in your space. 04:29 There is a meaning of the words with which we destroy the energy space. We lower the vibrations of relationships with close, dear people. 04:41 Sometimes families even fall apart because of the influence of the energy of certain significant words. Another important point that follows from all the previous points, I would say, is the block of one's realization in professional activity, the block of new opportunities, the block of new acquaintances. It is very important what you think and say about yourself. Important for your growth in life. It is impossible to create this artificially if you do not know what kind of style of thoughts it is, the words that very often we not only speak to ourselves, but also think. The golden rule of nutrition is: "We are what we eat" . If we consisted only of the body, then yes, but a person is only half material, while the other half is spiritual, i.e. - Non-material, and the spiritual aspect, in my opinion, is still primary. Therefore, the correct rule would be: "We are what we think."

Thoughts modify feelings, give rise to emotions, which, in turn, shape our life and destiny. The way we think and feel about ourselves and situations today is directly related to how we will live tomorrow.

Therefore, the skill of controlling thoughts very, very important for everyone without exception. Today we will not talk about the technical side of the issue, but about why it is so important to deal with it. You can read as many books as you want and go through trainings about managing your destiny, but do nothing for change. The problem is motivation. When we do not fully understand the importance and necessity of action, we will never have the time or energy for it.

We live and constantly think about something. For the most part, these are some unformed fragments, this is not so important, it is important that the thoughts are not negative. Because if we imagine that the daily portion of thoughts is placed in some kind of vessel, and most of the vessel is filled with dark, unpleasant thoughts, then most of our life (and future destiny) will be colored similarly. What thoughts are stronger, bigger, brighter, sit in our head longer, that's how we live. Now a reasonable question is who is the boss in the house, you or your thoughts? If now you have realized that thoughts control you, then it is possible and important to learn how to control them yourself. Thoughts are not some kind of our enemies, they are indicators of internal problems that need to be worked on. I do not have a separate course on thought control, but as part of the training at the School of Self-Love, among other things, we learn this as well.

Starting to control thoughts, you begin to see how emotions are controlled because emotion comes from thought. Example: you were not given something; if you turn off thoughts, then you will quickly and easily build your life further, based on the fact that you do not and will not have this “something”; if thoughts are allowed to connect, resentment will arise (from comparison - someone was given, but not me), which will give rise to discontent and claims, i.e., already a whole bunch of negative emotions, which, of course, will have an impact on your subsequent fate . A person full of grievances and claims and a person free from negative baggage live qualitatively completely different lives, including in terms of health. Winston Churchill could smoke as much as he wanted, while maintaining healthy lungs, if at the same time he knew how to fully enjoy life. And he could, even without being a smoker, get lung cancer if he lived without joy and in claims. This aspect - the influence of thoughts and emotions born by them on health - should also be taken into account, especially for those who already have chronic serious diseases.

I suggest you analyze what thoughts your daily vessel is filled with. During the day, pay attention, or better, write down what you think about, and at the end, see what thoughts you had more, which of them occupied you longer (that is, were stronger), and draw conclusions. If there are more kind, warm, joyful thoughts, then it’s wonderful. If there are fewer of them, then it makes sense to work with this topic, this can be done by reading the articles on the links above, either on your own or with a trainer. If you need help, write to me.

The purpose of this article is to show that there is a direct relationship between the quality of life and thoughts. We can’t get into someone else’s head and peep what other people are thinking, but by listening to what they say and, most importantly, how they do it, we can form an approximate idea. If it is not possible to trace this connection on the example of your life, you can try to do this on the example of other people. How do unhappy people live? Who surrounds them? Who loves them? Do they love someone? How much good and benefit do they bring to the world? Do they understand why they live? Do they like life, or do they pull the strap? Observe, and if you come to conclusions that are consonant with mine, know that thoughts can and should be controlled, and this science is not so complicated, there would be a desire. But it can bring about dramatic changes.

- glorification of God;

- mutual communication and edification.

"A Christian should direct his tongue to the glorification of God."

“Our language was given to glorify God and say what serves for edification, benefit.” “That is why you have a tongue and a mouth to correct your neighbor.” “I gave you a mouth so that you would plant useful seeds, spread blessing and love through them.”

“The Word has been given to unite us with the bonds of mutual fellowship and philanthropy, and to adorn our life with meekness.”

Father John concludes that the word must be used to glorify the Creator and for the benefit of others (4, p. 164).

3. What is origin of the word ?

On the one hand, the word creates the mind.

“The word is an embodied thought” (2, p. 24).

“Our words,” writes St. Ambrose of Milan, “are a mirror, a visible manifestation of our mind” (1, p. 192).

“The word is the servant of the mind. What the mind wants, the word expresses.

On the other hand: "The engine of the language is the heart."

“Words reveal the contents of the heart: what is in the heart of a person, good or evil, is manifested outside through the word.”

Father John emphasizes that “a kind, affectionate word of simple sympathy has great encouraging and calming power” (1, p. 152).

Negative word action

Father John emphasizes that Most of all, a person sins with a word. He gives a vivid expression of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk: "O unbridled tongue! How much evil you do to the world!”(3, p. 1177)

“Christians must “preserve” their language, since a person does not sin so much as with an unbridled tongue. Language is the cause of wars and bloodshed, church disorders, “language curses a person; the tongue speaks evil of the father and mother; language teaches murder; the tongue advises and conspires about adultery, uncleanness, theft, all unrighteousness; the tongue lies, flatters, deceives; the tongue idles, blathers, blasphemes, swears; The tongue of the guilty in court will justify and accuse the right... The tongue torments even holy men, who do not harm anyone with their gentleness; the tongue burps blasphemies against the great, holy, and terrible name of God; in a word, the tongue does not leave anything, but it burps out the poison that lies in the human heart” (3, p. 1177).

What types of sins committed by the tongue, considers father John?

Idle talk and verbosity

Schema-Archimandrite John (Maslov) calls on everyone to pay special attention to the words of Christ the Savior: “I tell you that for every idle word that people say, they will give an answer on the day of judgment”). But how many of us refrain from speaking? According to Father John, most often "we open our mouths for idle talk and even ranting, thereby causing great harm to our souls...". After all, “man was created to glorify God, but, unfortunately, he often not only does not glorify Him, but even insults him with slander and idle words” (4, p. 162). Father John refers to the words of the Holy Scriptures: “If you multiply words, it will be vile” (). And the prudent in words is pleased by the holy apostle James: “If anyone does not sin in the word, this man is perfect, strong to curb the whole body” () (4, p. 162).

His thoughts about the word Fr. John connects with such a concept as time, and explains: “He who loves idle talk wastes in vain time is that precious talent, given to man for the acquisition of blessed eternity” (4, p. 162).

The elder reveals how harmful idle talk is for us. After all, “it drives out good thoughts and good intentions from our souls, removes from us the Spirit of purity and holiness, and instead of good thoughts and feelings, evil thoughts and impure desires enter our souls, which soon captivate the whole human being ... We know that With these sins we offend God, we remove Him from our hearts, but we do not want to part with them, because we loved darkness more than light” (4, p. 162). According to the words of the Monk John of the Ladder, “multiple speech is a sign of foolishness, the door of slander, the servant of lies, the destruction of heart tenderness, the clouding of prayer” (4, p. 164).

Schema-Archimandrite John shows what great harm the one who loves idle talk causes not only to himself, but also to his neighbor. In the words of the elder, the idle talker fills the soul of his neighbor with “empty dreams, unseemly images that make him inclined to evil deeds. To lead another into temptation - what could be more pernicious than this? “Woe to that man, whom the temptation comes” (), says Christ the Savior ”(4, p. 162).

Elder John convincingly shows the meaning of the word in the destinies of many people. Father John says: "The word is idle... goes through the minds, through the mouths of many people, produces an innumerable number of bad thoughts, feelings and actions. “Beware, man,” says St. Anthony the Great, “take power over your tongue, and do not multiply words, so as not to multiply sins” (4, p. 163).

What should a teacher, for whom the word is the main instrument of his activity, have in mind? Verbosity, which often “blocks” the essence with itself, imperceptibly leads away from the truth. Verbosity affects not only people, but also books written by them, primarily educational literature. The ability to accurately and briefly express the essence of a phenomenon, event, evidence depends on the effectiveness of the educational process and the quality of knowledge that is taught by teaching teachers, as well as educational literature. Here we see a wide field of activity for pedagogical workers: not only to be able to use the word and speech correctly, avoiding verbosity and idle talk, but also to teach this to our pupils.

condemnation

The word of a person serves as a means of expressing a heavy passion - condemnation. “It takes its origin not from one passion, but from several: pride, envy, malice” (5, p. 326).

Slander

How terrible and dangerous is an unrestrained tongue, a slandering person? Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk compares the slanderer with the murderer: “Many do not kill with the hands of a person and do not stab, but stab and kill with their tongue, as with a tool, according to the written word: “Sons of humanity, the teeth of their weapons and arrows, and their tongue is a sharp sword” () (3 , p. 423). According to the apt comparison of the saint, “just as during a strong wind a fire can be very dangerous, burning houses and things in them, so an unbridled tongue spreads all evil throughout the world” (5, p. 325). “Slander is a vile vice not only before God, but also before people. A person infected with it loses all trust and respect from others. He is despised as a liar and a disturber of peaceful life. The slanderer constantly carries in his heart a deadly poison that damages the immortal souls and the souls redeemed by the priceless Blood of the Son of God” (5, p. 325).

Father John says that “many, living carelessly, do not consider slander for, but it,” Father John points out, “is worse than pestilence, for ... slander infects and even kills a much larger number of people. The activity of the slanderer is aimed at spreading evil in the world, and therefore at serving the devil and the destruction of his soul” (5, p. 325). “The mind of a slanderer becomes clouded and vigilance weakens” (5, p. 325), writes Father John.

About how difficult it is to correct the consequences of slander, Father John speaks in his Sermon on Idle Talk, drawing the following example: “There were two people who loved each other passionately. And then one of them envied the other and began to spread a bad rumor about him among the people: supposedly the latter does not live according to Christianity, does evil and steals and lies, gaining fame and honor for himself. Soon this slander took its toll. All friends and acquaintances turned away from this man, and he fell into great poverty. Subsequently, the one who slandered his friend repented and came to ask his forgiveness. But he said to him: “Take a bag of swan down, climb a tall tree in a strong storm and shake it out, then come to me.” The latter did everything as he was commanded, and thought that by this he received forgiveness. But the one who ordered him to do this said: “Now go and collect every single feather.” To this the slanderer replied: "That is impossible, because the wind has blown the fluff all over the universe." To this his former friend replied: “So it is impossible for me to return that glory and honor before my neighbors, which you inflicted on me with your slander” (4, pp. 162–163).

Father John explains that “the slanderer is more dangerous than the one suffering from leprosy, since many people know the sick person and move away from him, but the slanderer cannot be immediately recognized, since he tries to cover up his crime with false piety and, like Judas, who betrayed Christ, betrays the innocent to humiliation and reproach "(5, p. 325).

Working on the mind and heart of the child, the teacher must show him how this or that vice affects the person himself, his neighbors, and society. So, speaking of slanderers, one should reveal the thought of St. Tikhon that the slanderer harms:

- the person he is talking about

- hurts himself

- harms the one to whom he speaks (3, p. 423).

This means that from one slanderer many souls become infected and perish. The slanderer himself will suffer from delusion of mind. This is a very heavy consequence of sin.

6. Methods for eradicating verbal sins

Let us briefly indicate the methods proposed in the writings of Father John.

“It is impossible to tame the tongue without the help of God,” therefore, one should turn to God with a prayer as often as possible, so that He “puts guardianship in our mouths” (4, p. 164).

The fear of God keeps a person from many vices. “It would be very good to curb our bodily, sinful feelings with the fear of God, especially the eyes, ears and tongue - the doors of sin, leading their victims, like the prodigal son of the Gospel, “to a country far away” (4, p. 112). “The fear of God, like a faithful guardian, keeps from all evil. The fear of God warns, corrects us, and turns us away from evil.”(5, p. 271). This is a general provision that is important for the teacher in his work. In Russian pedagogy, from early childhood, the fear of God was specially brought up.

“Fasting makes a person moderate, sober, silent and chaste. The mind of a truly fasting Christian, sometimes imperceptibly to himself, becomes bright, capable of judging spiritual subjects. Such a person clearly hears the voice of his conscience, which constantly protects and keeps him from violating the law of God, controls his behavior” (5, p. 290).

7.Some Rules for Word Ownership

First of all, it is necessary reason, and then speak.

Father John cites the words of Metropolitan Philaret of Moscow on this occasion: “In no case do not waste words recklessly... let yourself think about whether the word that you give birth to the world will be good for you and another, and which, no matter how small and insignificant it may seem, will live until the last Judgment and appear on it as evidence either about you or against you ” (4, p. 162).

Schema-Archimandrite John (Maslov) advises to beware of disputes and quarrels, so as not to sin with the tongue (3);

In a fit of indignation against another person, refrain from speaking, capable of offending a person: “... first of all, refrain from reciprocal accusations and, at the very beginning of a fit of anger and irritability, do not utter offensive words and rudeness, because this passion is conquered not by evil, but by virtues opposite to it - love, meekness and humility” (5, p. .324).

Father John writes especially much about the need to control all his words (3, p. 169-170; 4, p. 164).

Keep sight and hearing so as not to sin with the tongue (7).

In order to avoid slander, do not believe false rumors, especially about those in authority (7). In order to avoid condemnation, avoid verbosity, that is, “try not to see the malice of a person” (6, p. 118).

“Do not be stubborn and do not insist on your word, so that evil does not enter you.”

According to the Monk Isidore Pelusiot, those who teach, one must be modest in word and appearance, and in voice, and in look, and in gait. .. “Let the voice and treatment of neighbors show more modesty than arrogance” (1, p. 216).

St. Ambrose of Milan speaks of the same "very voice... should be natural not too loud and not too quiet; how much it is alien to rural or common folk rawness, so much theatricality”, “not particularly weak and intermittent, not whiny, like women, as many try to change it to express some kind of tenderness” (1, p. 192).

St. Tikhon of Zadonsk teaches: “Skillful teachers, in teaching the rules of the sciences, also show an image of how to act according to the rules of those things; for the rule itself, without showing the image and deed, is of little and almost nothing use: those who want to teach their students, and by their very deeds show what

rules teach, but considering the rules and the case, it is better to learn how to act according to the rules (3, p. 457).

The good and exemplary life of a teacher should be recognized as the first, most important and indispensable means of pedagogical influence, because the method of visual teaching is the most natural and effective. “Either do not teach at all,” says St. Gregory the Theologian, “or teach with a good life. Otherwise, you will attract with one hand, repel with the other ... Less words will be required if you do what you must, the painter teaches more with pictures ... Every word can be disputed with a word, but life is more than you can dispute! (1, p. 209). “Every word,” says St. Isidore Pelusiot, “left without action is dead and useless. The word, when not accompanied by deed, does not go further than hearing, but animated by deed, as strong and effective, it penetrates into the depths and touches the soul” (1, p. 223). If “the one who teaches is bound by passions and vices, then his language itself will be bound. His words will be empty words... The very vicious life will drain his spiritual powers and rob him of his ability to teach.(1, p. 224).

Outlining the teachings of the Holy Fathers, Schema-Archimandrite John (Maslov) points to one of the reasons for the low productivity in education: immoral the teacher's life deprives him of the ability to teach.

One who teaches morality, according to St. Isidore Pelusiot, “must have intellectual wisdom, those. to teach in a word that should be pronounced with the aim of chaste hearers, and not from the desire to show oneself. Only that preacher, in the words of St. Isidore, will be successful, “will be a sweet-sounding organ”, pleasing to God and people, who, with his teaching, does not delight the ear, but nourishes the soul with a living word, when speaks with authority denouncing vice and praising virtue” (1, p. 214).

Thus, on the basis of the teachings of the Holy Fathers, Father John singles out the following basic rules for good speech.

These are relevance, instructiveness, content, brevity, clarity, logic, expressiveness, and educational impact.

Note that modern ideas about the communicative qualities of speech include such requirements as clarity, correctness, purity, accuracy, relevance, consistency, richness and expressiveness (Golub I.B. Russian language and culture of speech: study guide. - M .: Logos , 2001). We emphasize that modern requirements do not include such an important quality as the content of speech.

13.Methods of Pedagogical Influence by the Word According to the Teachings of the Holy Fathers

Methods of pedagogical influence must be carefully selected for each specific case and person. From the wrong medicine, you can not only not recover, but fall more into the disease. The Monk Isidore Pelusiot gives an example when “some were healed by a reprimand, while others were hardened and brought to the point that they became even worse; others laughed at the word itself and imputed it to nothing. Therefore, it is impossible to use one medicine in so many ailments” (1, p. 224).

We find a precious bead of pedagogical wisdom in the teaching of St. Gregory the Theologian, from whom we read: edifies the word other corrected by example. For others you need scourge, but for others bridle, for some are lazy and unmoved towards good, and such excite with blows of the word; others are beyond measure ardent in spirit and unstoppable in aspirations, like young, strong horses running further than the goal, and such can be corrected curbing and restraining word. For some useful praise, For others reproach; but both are on time; on the contrary, without time and without reason they harm. Corrects some exhortation, others rebuke, and the last or according to public denunciation, or by secret wisdom. For some are accustomed to neglect admonitions made in private, but come to their senses if they are reproached in front of many; while others lose their shame at the publicity of the denunciation, but they are humbled by a warm reprimand... observe everything carefully even the most unimportant, deeds; but in others it is better not to notice otherwise, and, as they say, Seeing without seeing and hearing without hearing... Sometimes you need to be angry without getting angry” (visible, not actual anger), “show contempt without despising, lose hope without despairing, as much as each property requires; others should to heal with meekness, humility and complicity in their best hopes for themselves ... One should praise or condemn one's wealth and power, and the other's poverty and disorder of affairs ”(1, p. 209).

To this it should be added, according to the words of the Monk Isidore Pelusiot, advice, censure, compassion, reproof with boldness, prohibition, punishment, condescension and so on. (1, p. 228).

All these pedagogical influences must be applied with extreme caution so as not to harm anyone.

Seeking to each his own approach, the teacher will need to make a lot of effort to get to know the souls of his students well.

The Holy Fathers pay great attention to remarks that require the greatest art. Therefore, the Monk Moses of Optina (Putilov) teaches that “if anyone needs to reprimand or remark, then one must first pray for him in the heart”, then he “will listen to the remark calmly, and correction happens” (5, p. 109). According to his position, the teacher is obliged to make comments. “Salt is bitter, but it drives out the worms and does not allow rottenness. And although the medicine is bitter, let us accept it for the preservation of our health: so the accusatory word of our passionate flesh is not pleasant, but it is useful to the soul. It is fitting for him to convict sins, not persons: “The accusatory word is like a mirror that shows us the vices on the face, let us cleanse them: so the word of accusation represents sins, yes, seeing them in our conscience, we strive to blot out repentance” (3, p. 485).

14.Pedagogical impact of the word

As part of the pedagogical interaction between the teacher and the student, it is important for us to understand the double effect of the word:

1) First, the word is an expression of thought.

this implies The task of the teacher is to teach the child to translate thoughts into words, that is, to clearly explain his thoughts.

2) Secondly, the word is a means to the emergence of a certain thought (i.e. when the student hears or pronounces (reads) the word himself, it excites his thought. Thoughts are born from words. Based on the second feature of the word, the task of the teacher becomes - with the help of the word to plant good thoughts in the minds of children, but, most importantly, to form with the help of the word the correct vision of the world - the worldview. And, secondly, to teach children to be responsible for their own words, to be more silent and attentive to their thoughts.

Thus, the teacher should teach the child:

speak only what you understand, that is, consciously. The same applies to reading. St. Ambrose of Optina instructs to read, which is understandable. “You need to read less, but understand.” What I read, “then chew the cud all day like a sheep” (6, p. 138);

think first, then speak. After all, for the most part it happens that if you think, then you don’t start talking. And “our benefit comes not from the number of words, but from the quality. Sometimes a lot is said, but there is nothing to listen to, and at other times you hear one word, and it remains in your memory for life” (St. Ambrose of Optina) (1, p. 378). Having reasoning before any word, the child will learn to speak prudently and each word, before speaking, will ponder;

do not speak until you are asked. Unfortunately, this rule is almost forgotten by modern parents and teachers. However, its benefits are undeniable. First, keeping it teaches the virtues of humility and obedience. Secondly, it teaches you to be attentive. Verbosity does not make it possible to correctly draw a conclusion about the situation, about the world around, because a person sees himself more than others and the world; it prevents you from making the right decision.

Our ancestors have always considered important not only the ability to speak, but also the ability to listen to the interlocutor. This is reflected in numerous sayings, proverbs and aphorisms;

logic of presentation and eloquence. The teacher must enrich the student's speech. The child often finds it difficult to express his thought because his vocabulary is still very small. The teacher should help children to enrich vocabulary and explain the meaning of words so that a certain concept is associated with them in the minds of children. Even a talented artist cannot draw a luxurious landscape if he does not have a rich supply of colors at his disposal or if there is no ability to use them. The task of the teacher is to reveal the richness of the high states of the human soul (honor, dignity, exultation, reverence, mercy, meekness, nobility, etc.). The vocabulary of modern people has become impoverished and is gradually losing these words, because, apparently, these states themselves are disappearing from the life of a modern person. The teacher must develop the student's interest in these spiritual and moral concepts.

The richness of the language also testifies to the richness of the inner world of man. A person with a rough soul speaks rudely, his speech is primitive. Consequently, By helping students to enrich their vocabulary, the teacher also contributes to the enrichment of their inner life.

The richness of the language speaks of the richness of the soul and the inner world of the people who formed it. The spirituality and morality of the Russian people, the desire for holiness, were expressed in their language, for language is a repository not only of practical, but also of spiritual experience. It is very important in the matter of spiritual and moral education to preserve the richness of the language, and hence the richness of internal states.

Methods, means of working with the word, collected and described by Schema-Archimandrite John (Maslov), will certainly help in solving this problem.

Man is a part of nature. He, unlike the other animal world, is inherent in
intellect, mental activity. And it is important how we will consciously use what God has endowed us with, unlike the other natural world.

Thought- this invisible mental activity. is the most powerful energy. Any energy can be creative, but it can also be destructive.
Accordingly, thought has creative and destructive power.
Accordingly, you need to be responsible for your thoughts.
Thought is the source of the universe, the primary source of all that exists, for all creativity is born and begins in thought.
It is necessary to use this great power wisely, not for destructive egoistic purposes, but for the good of one's neighbor and for the benefit of evolution.

Man is a reflection of the universe or a small Cosmos. And the defining principles of man are:

1. Physical body
2. etheric body
3. Astral body
4. Lower or instinctive mind
5. higher mind or intellect
6. spiritual mind, or straight-knowledge - intuition
7. Spirit is our immortal essence.

Man manifests his essence on the physical plane by his actions, on the astral plane by his desires, on the mental plane by his thoughts.

The astral world is a world of desires, therefore, when a person leaves the physical body, and desires remain, this is hell.

The mental world is the world of our thoughts.

Our spirit emits radiation, which is called an aura, which in turn depends on the degree of development of a person's spirituality. The more spiritually a person is, the more developed he is, the larger and richer his aura, the brighter, lighter, pure and clear and shines with all shades, as a result of which the Cosmos reads our thoughts, our inner content through our aura.

Man has a lower mind or instinct,

Average mind or intellect (modern man).

Higher mind or ability of insight. These are the people of the future.

All the needs of the body - hunger, thirst, sleep, sexual desire, passions - hatred, anger, jealousy, revenge and others like that - this is a manifestation of the lower nature of man - instincts. The instinctive mind is the subconscious.

Consciousness, that is, knowledge of oneself, is manifested by the intellect. Like any knowledge. - This is the intellect (5th beginning of our essence).

Superconsciousness is the faculty of insight. The highest principle of human essence - or the Spirit resides in the heart of a person, and therefore everything that comes from this area breathes sincerity, cordiality, warmth and sincerity.

Intelligence is not wisdom.

Straight-knowledge is wisdom. Intellect is reason, the vestibule of wisdom. His development is useful only as long as he listens to the voice of the higher principle, which is wisdom. The biggest delusion in this case is when, as he develops, he begins to consider himself the highest principle.

The modern world is dying because of the excessive development of the intellectual mind, from the predominance of rationality to the detriment of spirituality.

It is important to control your mind. Only professional thinkers and intellectuals have some control over their minds. The mind really needs to be controlled. Our health depends on what thoughts are constantly in our head - positive or negative. Our present, and our future.
Most people do not even suspect what a dangerous employee we have in our heads, when the destruction of the spiritual beginning of the personality occurs from chaotic thoughts of a negative nature, and then the physical destruction of the personality. Therefore, the issue of thought control is of paramount importance and the most urgent need.
Our mental apparatus, in addition to our desire, all the time radiates mental energy, moreover, either creative or destructive, which fills the space. Hence our mind is the supplier of either good or evil to the environment. This can be compared either with a fragrant flower, if the thoughts are beautiful, or radiate anger, hatred, envy and other negative qualities.

The potential of thought is great, for thought there is neither space nor time. Each thought can either darken or clear space. The action of a thought will be stronger, the more mental power it contains.

Thought is the basis of creativity. It can be seen and measurable. She is a being of the spiritual plane, and therefore she cannot be destroyed.

A strong, bright thought, sent with a specific purpose, creates a living spatial being out of mental matter - a mental image that will strive to implement the idea embedded in it.

But one should not think that only bright thoughts can create an environment, and not bright thoughts also realize themselves when the law “Attraction of like by like” operates in the Universe.

As a result, thoughts in their content concentrate and create different things, or creations of improvement, or in the form of all kinds of natural disasters - such as epidemics, floods, famines, earthquakes or other adverse consequences.

A person cannot receive better than what he sends. In the new Teaching, the Teacher tells his student: "You can ask a person, friend, don't make an earthquake."

The higher the thought in its content, the stronger it is.

In space, thought accumulates both in time and in space. The heyday of the country is always going on with space activities. Therefore, when a person is looking for an answer to any question, he thinks for a long time, and the longer he looks for ways, then at one fine moment, when thoughts flow like a river into his head, he finds the right solution. This means that a person's thought has reached a spatial thought of the same content, which came to his aid.

Everything that exists on the mental plane must someday be realized on the physical.

If in our mental activity we send good thoughts and wishes to someone, contacting at the mental level, they are perceived and implemented. In this case, a good thought brings a double benefit, "for he who sows reaps a hundredfold." And if we send an evil thought to any person, and the person who receives it is higher in spirit than you, then the reception is blocked, and this evil thought returns to you like a boomerang. Therefore, an evil thought and curses at someone's address are dangerous, first of all, to the one who said them.

There are places that concentrate certain thoughts and accumulate them. for example, in the cemetery we are visited by thoughts about the frailty of our life. In the church - about more spiritual things, when thoughts and feelings are put in order. That is why at first it is very difficult to get used to the workplace, to the new office, you seem to know the work, but something prevents you from doing it in accordance with your professional qualities.

Responsibility for the word, for the action, is the responsibility for the thought, because both the word and the action are the expression of thought and have their origin in thought.

The main thing for each person is to learn to think alone. Remember the responsibility of thinking. True. thought breaks down any walls. Doubts, annoyances, and self-immolation can and must be consciously removed.

All human misery comes from the ignorance of knowledge. Knowledge is the way to salvation. And Knowledge is the way of liberation from suffering.

It is necessary to strive to improve the very essence of man, a man of a new era will control his thoughts so that not a single egoistic, ugly thought will clutter up space with its destructive power, he will see the thoughts of people, as well as the opposite, and will send beautiful thoughts into space, and the world will probably be more perfect.

The material is taken from my long-term home archive. What does it do for our health? The text is given in theses, for a more understandable assimilation of the material.

Filling our internal state with positive thoughts, we form our health, the spiritual, physical side of our “I”. But not only. Even the material, everyday side of our life practically depends on how our thinking is arranged. In all cases of life, on how we think, that is, we find ways to solve the situations that have arisen, their positive solution depends.
