We make three such blanks. We glue a stick to each head, which we then insert into the cone (be sure to fix it with glue). We glue the legs of walnuts, as well as the wings and tail of dry leaves.

Do-it-yourself topiary from cones

From the cones you can make a very beautiful topiary or a tree of happiness. We insert a sharp stick into a pot of plaster.

Using a glue gun, we fix the bumps on the foam ball. We put this ball on a stick. We wrap the pot with a rope.

DIY basket of cones

You can make a very original autumn basket out of cones. This craft is suitable for an autumn exhibition in a kindergarten or school. Using glue, we connect six cones in a circle - this is the future bottom of the basket.

Now we also connect eight cones - this is the upper part of the basket.

We take the upper part of the basket and glue the bumps to it in a circle. We will have a blank of two rows.

On this blank we glue the bottom of the basket, which we made at the beginning. In the central part of the basket there will be a hole, which we will “glue” with a cone.

We connect the cones for the handle with wire. We attach the handle to the basket.

Swan

Swan - a bird of cones - is done quite simply, you just need to know the order of work. To make it, take a large half-closed pine cone and plasticine in white, black and red.

From white plasticine, fashion an oblong neck with a head, red is suitable for a beak, and black will make eyes.

Attach the plasticine blank to the blunt end of the cone.

The swan is ready!

If desired, the wings and tail can be made from dry grass or real feathers. To fashion a black swan, you need to use black instead of white plasticine.

Crow

To create this bird, you need to take 2 small pine cones, acorn caps and plasticine in three shades (yellow, white and black).

Connect the cones together as shown in the photo.

Make legs out of acorn caps. Natural material can be fixed with a heat gun.

Instead of hot glue, you can also try to hold the cones together with plasticine.

Sculpt a beak from yellow plasticine. Black and white plasticine is needed to make eyes. And pieces of black material are suitable for forming the wings of a bird.

Ostrich

Another version of a bird made of cones and plasticine is an ostrich. To get this big bird, you need to get a spruce cone. You will also need plasticine (black and brown), toothpicks and a couple of acorns.

Use an awl to make holes in the cone and insert toothpicks into them. These will be the legs of the ostrich.

Stick the acorn to the oval blank of brown plasticine.

Fix the neck with the acorn on the upper edge of the cone. Attach acorn caps to the ends of the toothpicks, after making holes in them with an awl.

It remains only to fashion a beak and eyes from black and white plasticine.

A tuft of miniature alder cones will look very good, which can be fixed on the stomach with a thermal gun.

You can decorate the edge of the cone with feathers or inflorescences of dry plants.

Owl

To make it, you need a long spruce cone. You also need 2 acorn caps and plasticine in black, brown and yellow.

This bird has very expressive eyes, which are easy to make from acorn caps. To make them even more expressive, you can stick a black pupil on a yellow background on top of each. For this, plasticine of the corresponding color is used.

From brown material it is necessary to fashion feathers that will be located above the eyes.
