How to sew your own blouse. How to sew a blouse: patterns and master classes

We continue the topic of articles on tailoring children's clothing. Earlier I gave, which is sewn very simply and quickly. In this article, I propose to sew a blouse for a girl that can be worn on any occasion. In time, its tailoring will take a little more, but the result is worth it. Consider all tailoring from the moment the pattern was built.

Sweatshirt pattern for a girl

To build a drawing, you need to know:

  • Chest girth.
  • Waist.
  • Back width.
  • Chest width.
  • Back waist length.
  • Front waist length.
  • Shoulder size.
  • Product length.
  • Armhole depth.
  • Sleeve length.

My pattern is based on size 110-116. So let's get started.

That's all, the pattern is ready! You can start cutting and sewing.

Jacket for girls: step by step

For work, I decided to choose knitwear - it stretches remarkably, drapes beautifully and, in general, this is one of my favorites. You can take any other material you like.

In the classic version, you will need 80 cm of fabric, with a width of 150 cm and a spool of thread to match. Let me remind you that such a consumption of material goes to a size of 110-116 cm. Additionally, you can take decorative elements, which later “revive” the look of the blouse. For me it will be large and small beads and lace.

Cut out all the details: 2 halves of the back, 2 sleeves, 1 part of the front.

In the process of work, I decided to lower the center of the back a little. To do this, she chopped off both parts with the front sides inward, drew a new neck and cut off the excess. In my opinion, it's more beautiful. If you decide to do the same, then do not forget to reduce the shoulder line from the front neckline, otherwise there will be inconsistencies when sewing the shoulder lines.

Now fold "face" inwards the details of the back and front and sew along the side seams and shoulders.

Let's immediately make the sleeves, as the most time-consuming. Measure the child's wrist, take a couple of centimeters to its width for freedom and allowances for the seams. Decide on the width of the cuffs and cut out rectangles twice as wide as the intended width + allowances for the seams.

Fold them with the short sides facing inward and sew.

Sew up the sleeves.

Go down the bottom of the sleeve with a zigzag stitch, loosening the tension on the machine and setting the maximum stitch length. Pull off the sleeve a little so that it is convenient to sew on the cuffs.

Turn the cuff so that the seam is inside. Pin them on the sleeves and sew. Such a beautiful "flashlight" is formed here.

Pin the sleeve to the armhole of the blouse. At this stage, the main thing is not to confuse the front and back sleeves.

After that, chip off and close the back of the product with a seam. Do not reach the neck literally a centimeter and a half.

The neck can be pulled off a little, so it will look neater. It is convenient to do this with the same zigzag stitch on a typewriter.

Let's start building and sewing a kind of collar. Measure the neck of the product around the entire circumference. Add 40 centimeters to the free ends. Cut out a strip equal to the measured length, taking into account the loose ends for the tie and a width of 5 cm + seam allowances.

Fold it "face" inward, chip off and fold in half. From the center, measure 1/2 the width of the neck of the product. Duplicate the measurement on the other side.

Sew the ribbon on both sides, leaving the center open. Turn the collar out.

With the open side, attach the collar to the neck of the product with the front sides so that the free ends look back and sew.

I decided to decorate the neck with beads and beads of different sizes. Looks original to me. Unfortunately, the photo is not able to convey that beauty.

And here's what we got in the end. An interesting blouse for any occasion!

Creative success to you and even stitches!

Every fashionista has a pretty blouse in her wardrobe. If this thing is sewn with your own hands, it acquires exclusivity. A well-chosen blouse is able to bring playfulness and coquetry to the female image. Depending on the style and color, such clothes can be combined not only with a skirt and a business trouser suit, but also with shorts. Before you start sewing, you should decide on the model and style.

How to sew a blouse with your own hands?

To create an exclusive thing on your own, you will have to be patient, as well as perseverance. There are both complex models that require a lot of time, and simple options that, despite their primitiveness, look just as good.

At the initial stage, you will need a pattern, to create which you need to measure the circumference of the waist, chest, shoulders. For simplicity, it is recommended to divide the obtained results in half. For a summer blouse, it is advisable to choose a free model, sewn from a lightweight material that allows air to pass through. For the cold season, you should take care of acquiring a denser fabric. When the undercuts are ready, you should proceed to the sewing process itself.

We sew a chiffon blouse according to a pattern

A groove can be drawn on paper, the sheets of which are glued together. Then the pattern is cut out and transferred to the fabric. First, a vertical line is drawn, the length of which is equal to the distance from the shoulder to the bottom of the product. Three horizontal lines are also needed: lines of the chest, waist, hips. Their length is a quarter of the measured value plus another 5 cm.

Important! For clothes with a set-in sleeve, you will need to measure the width of the front, which will determine the depth of the armhole.

It is also necessary to draw a neckline, draw a shoulder, tilting about 5-10 degrees. The side seam requires special attention. It is important to make a smooth connection of three lines, bring to the sleeve, bringing to the armhole, depict the second seam.

Below are patterns for a long sleeve sweater.

The undercut of a sleeveless chiffon blouse has the form of rectangles, in which the side seams are cut off and also rounded in the armholes. This is the most ideal option for a product made of this material, since it has the property of "creeping". It is enough to complete four seams, as well as process the bottom and throat.

Below is a pattern for a sleeveless chiffon blouse.

On a note! For a chiffon product, it is recommended to use a thin needle so as not to hit the fabric. For such a sweater, it is better to choose a free style. It should not be tight fitting. Chiffon tends to be electrified, so it is recommended to use an antistatic agent.

The following actions are performed:

  1. Using pre-made patterns, the necessary details are cut out of the material.
  2. The elements of the blouse are sewn together, the side seams are swept, ground, and then processed with an overlock stitch.
  3. The edge of the sleeve, like the bottom of the product, is tucked up and grinded.
  4. The neck is swept, grinded, folded in half in the opposite direction, ironed. The lining is sewn inwards.

Blouse is ready.

If this option seems too complicated for you, try the blouse pattern in the photo below.

How to sew a blouse simply and quickly - we sew a blouse from an old shirt

It is possible to sew a product from an existing wardrobe item, for example, from a classic-cut shirt:

  1. A top of a suitable size is applied to the shirt, the neckline and armholes are cut out. Both parts are chipped off with pins.
  2. During the fitting, parts where undercuts are required are chipped off. Using a plate, the neckline is corrected.
  3. The cut sleeves of the shirt are tapered to the required dimensions. Then the blouse is turned inside out and the sleeves are tried on. If they fit, they can be sewn on.
  4. To create a cuff, a rectangle is cut out of matter, folded in half and sewn on from the wrong side. The upper part, which acts as an inner edging, is turned away and ironed.
  5. To process the bottom edge, it is tucked in by about 1 cm and chopped off with pins. Then it is stretched. The jacket can be turned right side out and the seams can be ironed.

You can add decorations and various accessories to the finished product at your discretion.

Beautiful and original clothes, which took very little time to create, will bring you a lot of pleasure and allow you to be proud of your skills. Why waste effort on creating patterns and developing details? We offer you simple and effective recommendations, following which you will turn a piece of fabric into a piece of sewing art in a couple of minutes.

Seamless blouse without a pattern

Summer blouses created without a single seam are gaining immense popularity. They drape interestingly and fit the figure, are easy to perform and everyone can do it. It is advisable to choose a light fabric for them, such as chiffon, and also choose the right accessories - beads, belts, ribbons, to complete your look. The piece of fabric can be square, rectangular or even asymmetrical - depending on what shape the bottom edge you want to end up with. Fold the fabric in half so that the free edges remain on the sides of the figure. On the fold line, exactly in the center, cut out the neck of any shape. It remains only to process the edges of the fabric with a piping - and the blouse is ready to become part of the wardrobe. In a similar pattern, a sun skirt without seams is created.

Blouse cape “square” without a pattern

A slightly improved version of the previous paragraph is a pareo or cardigan made from a square of fabric. We also fold the fabric in half, cut out the neck, and from it in the center of the chest there is a place for fasteners or ribbons. The “sides” are sewn together, all free edges are overcast. If desired, you can add a hood or patch pockets to the product, also cut from a whole square of fabric.

Romantic blouse with a flounced neck without a pattern

For ladies with standard clothing sizes from 42 to 48, you will need 1 meter 10 cm of fabric for a blouse in length and 1 meter 50 cm in width. Fold this rectangle in half and cut it. Set aside 15 centimeters from the top to collect the neck after. From the armhole in the same way - 30 cm each. We process the edges of the fabric, including the hem and neck (the latter - having previously turned it up). To put a "zest" in the blouse model, measure 5 cm from the top of the neckline and fold the fabric along its width. We sew, after we put in an elastic band about 35 cm long, which will effectively collect the frills around the neck.

Simple bruska "peasant woman" with lace without a pattern

To sew such a blouse, you will need cotton fabric, lace and braid. We cut out 2 rectangles from the fabric with sides 110 by 80 cm and sew them on the sides, simultaneously processing the edges with an overlock. On the lower edge we set aside 25 cm from each side, and from them up - another 45 cm. We cut the longitudinal lines. Thus, we simultaneously get shelves and sleeves. We process the seams, connect the sides. Now we tuck the edge of the neckline by 10 cm and stitch it twice to get a place for the drawstring. The edges of the sleeves and the bottom of the product are decorated with lace or braid. The belt can be tightened with a belt worn over.

Representatives of the beautiful half of humanity take care of themselves to always look perfect and beautiful. Truly the image becomes feminine thanks to clothes. There is something in every woman's wardrobe! We suggest trying to sew blouses with your own hands easily and quickly. Their patterns are varied - from simple to designer models.

Piggy bank of creative ideas

If you like to create and create masterpieces in your free time from work and household chores, then you just need to update your wardrobe. How about a DIY chiffon blouse? You can even come up with patterns yourself, the main thing is to pre-take all measurements and calculate the amount of fabric. Chiffon is a lightweight material. In such a blouse, you will always look like a soaring free bird with a sophisticated silhouette.

Choose a pattern according to the type of your figure. For example, peplum blouses are suitable for girls with rounded hips. But women with a pear figure type need elongated shirts with a straight cut. And if your spouse’s shirts were also lying around in your closet, which he no longer wears, then this is an excellent springboard for creativity. Remodeling is sometimes easier than creating a thing from scratch.

Before we start creating an elegant thing, let's learn a few practical tips:

  • first transfer the pattern to the wrong side of the fabric;
  • to draw a pattern on the fabric, you can use bar soap or chalk;
  • be sure to make seam allowances, approximately 10 mm each;
  • all seams are first made basting, and only then machine stitching is performed;
  • do-it-yourself blouses can be decorated with buttons and embroidery, brooch, beads, rhinestones;
  • if you put on a belt or a wide belt, then the blouse will immediately change and look new.

Give a shirt a second life

Remember the movie "The Diamond Arm"? The hero Andrei Mironov's trousers turned into elegant shorts. And we will make beautiful, fashionable, stylish and, most importantly, exclusive blouses from men's shirts with our own hands. Models of men's shirts are mostly straight, but we need to sew a fitted and cropped blouse.

Necessary materials:

  • men's shirt;
  • threads;
  • needle;
  • sewing machine;
  • ruler;
  • measuring tape;
  • scissors.

New blouse - well forgotten old

For a woman, there is nothing more pleasant than losing weight, and then putting on her old thing and knowing with joy that she is great. But what if this shirt was your favorite thing? It's easy to transform. Of course, you can look for blouse patterns for beginners. Simple do-it-yourself patterns will help you create an exclusive thing. And if you are not friends with a sewing machine and cannot sew a shirt yourself according to a pattern from a piece of fabric, you better do some magic on an old thing.

Necessary materials:

  • shirt;
  • threads;
  • thin elastic band;
  • pencil or chalk;
  • ruler;
  • sewing machine.

Step by step description of the creative process:

No matter how much we want to extend the summer, it is inexorably coming to an end, which means that very soon our children will go to school, where they will find new discoveries, impressions, beloved teachers and, of course, classmates. The first of September is a real celebration of knowledge, and to make this day even more desirable, we invite you to sew this lovely school blouse with a lace frill for your girl. In it, she will feel like a real young lady, and it is known that all ladies take a very responsible approach to any business, including study. So excellent grades, to the delight of parents, will be guaranteed! In this tutorial, we offer you one of the simplest blouse patterns for girls, with a minimum of seams - all the luxury of this model is contained in a lace jabot, on top of which an elegant brooch is pinned.

IMPORTANT! The jabot is sewn separately and fastened with buttons or loops to the stand-up collar.

Reshoot the pattern of the back and shelves on tracing paper. The length of the product on the back depends on the height of the child and is determined independently. The back is cut out without changes. On the shelf from the middle line, set aside 1.5 cm (3 cm) to the right and left and draw two vertical lines of a one-piece plank. Then set aside another 3 cm to the right and build a one-piece allowance for processing the bar.

Frill pattern for a blouse for a girl

On paper, put point A. From point A, draw a horizontal line to the left with a length of AA1 \u003d 7-8 cm (the value may vary depending on the size of the blouse).

From point A, draw an arc about 15-20 cm long, set point B. From point B, draw down a perpendicular with a length of BB1 = 12-15 cm (the value may vary depending on the size of the blouse). Connect points A1 and B1 with a smooth arc.

Cut out a bar for attaching a frill measuring 5 cm x 11 cm from the main fabric and duplicate it with an adhesive pad (Fig. 1). Calculate the length of the strap as follows: 4 cm (going under the right side of the collar) + 3 cm (ready-made blouse strip width) + 4 cm (going under the right side of the collar). Cut out the frill from lace fabric with a fold.

Remove the sleeve without changes and shorten it by 2.5 cm (1/2 cuff width). Build the sleeve cuff pattern as shown in fig. 2.

IMPORTANT! This model does not provide a sleeve cut for a fastener, but if you want to make it, increase the increase in cuff length by 2 cm, mark a 10 cm long cut on the sleeve (the location of the cut is in the center of the left half of the sleeve).
